Website review – Feedback appreciated

As part of our ongoing goal to provide what people want and not what we want people to have, we would like to get some feedback from you on the design and usability on the AXA.ie site.

From looks to links, images to functionality, we want to know and improve the experience.

So simply leave comments on this page and we’ll keep you posted on what we achieve from your feedback.

Thank you for your help.

    Laura, Chris,

I think the new site looks great – very clear and easy to follow with a font size that is legible on my laptop (unlike many corporate sites!).

The Online Car Insurance quote was faster than most that I have tried.
Selecting the car details based on registration is a definite improvement and there was no need to select an occupation – though I thought this would be a factor in the cost. On the negative side the model lists provided when selecting the car manually didn’t seem complete but at least there were no year / model restrictions that I have seen elsewhere.

Overall one of the best Irish insurance sites.

    Well done,
    Brendan

Thanks Brendan. It’s always nice to get some good feedback on the work that is being done.
Will take a look at the car selection issue to see what we can do to improve.

I like the two-column layout – three-column layouts just get too cluttered for my liking. On this simplistic trend the look and feel of the website appeals to me. I always like adhering to the KISS priniciple, and you guys have managed to achieve that in a really elegant manner.

Mybe the one thing that is lacking is some social media integration. I strongly suggest getting at least a twitter feed, as well as a facebook fan page. Traditional internet marketing is starting to become more and more influenced by these social media sites, and it is better to get in early before there is way too much catchup to be played.

A stronger call to action, placed more strategically in a hotspot will also get your traffic to convert better. Otherwise I am generally impressed with your offering and wish you all the best for your future endeavours.

    Keep well until next time.

    Steven
