I used to live in London, England and when we all first moved to Canada we were so excited by snow… Now it just brings power cuts and traffic issues as you said. I completely agree with all points especially slowing down and not using mobile phones. I find in Nova Scotia particularly drivers don’t slow nearly the amount they should and there are ALWAYS accidents in the snow – yet it comes every year… More people should be aware of these tips!

In snow or ice main thing is do not use brakes if is not really needed try slow doun car lowering gears and use brikes gently. if you driving in ice or snow road as wall you try drive in higher gear as possible its keeps you tyres off spining…
