Hi Barbara

Sorry to hear about your travel difficulties.

In relation to your query about the route from Cherbourg to Rosslare, the Stena Line website doesn't seem to list a route from Cherbourg, so the best thing to do is to contact Stena Line directly yourself.

As for your travel insurance query, if you have purchased your travel insurance from AXA Insurance Ireland from the following site ( https://www.axa-travel-insurance.com/travelinsurance/axaireland/StepOne.action ) you should contact the Travel Insurance team at +353 (1) 4311 203.

But if you purchased your travel insurance through AXA UK or elsewhere I'm afraid I can't help you as this is the AXA Ireland website, so if that is the case you should refer to the contact details in your travel policy document.

I hope you make it to your destination.

That's good news. But what about the route Cherbourg-Rosslare? I have a return flight next week from Santiago de Chile to Dublin with stop over in Madrid. I might get to Madrid but then I will need to get to Ireland by bus, train, taxi, ferry, etc. The shortest way is taking the ferry in Cherbourg... Really concerned as I'm travelling on my own with my 6 years old son and heavy luggage. Tried to called AXA yesterday from Chile but you just said call again on Monday 9AM UK time.
