The use of airport body scanners, introduced in the UK in response to the growing threat of terrorism may be unlawful, the Equality and Human Rights Commission has warned. It is being reported that the scanners may be breaking discrimination law as well as breaching passengers’ rights to privacy.
What’s your feeling on this? Does it put you off travelling? Personally speaking, I feel it’s a necessary sign of the times and a price I’m willing to pay for the freedom to travel where I want, when I want. And if someone has to see me in my birthday suit, well, I suppose that’s just another reason to visit the gym more often… as if I needed another reason.
