The use of airport body scanners, introduced in the UK in response to the growing threat of terrorism may be unlawful, the Equality and Human Rights Commission has warned. It is being reported that the scanners may be breaking discrimination law as well as breaching passengers&#8217; rights to privacy.

You can&#8217;t move these days without seeing or hearing an ad about a car scrappage scheme. What I can tell you is that AXA is giving a €100 discount on car insurance to all existing and new customers, who avail of the government ‘Scrappage Scheme’. It really is &#8217;money for old rope&#8217;.
